It's been a few months since the name of Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun has been mentioned in several trade rumours, and yet, he is still a member of the Coyotes.
But in the last few days, the Ottawa Senators have shown interest in the 24-year-old defenseman, who is still under contract for three more seasons at an AAV of $4.6 million.
According to TSN's Shawn Simpson, the Coyotes' asking price would be similar to what the Chicago Blackhawks paid to acquire defenseman Seth Jones from the Columbus Blue Jackets last summer.
Jones was dealt to Chicago in return for defenseman Adam Boqvist, two first-round picks, 12th overall in 2021 and 6th overall this year, and a second-round pick in 2021.
This is a huge return, so should we expect the Coyotes to get the exact same return for Chychrun?
