Well, not this time around. Because we need to know all that we can with the latest drama surrounding the Golden Knights!
ESPN's Emily Kaplan reported earlier today that Vegas starting netminder Robin Lehner would be sitting out the remainder of the season with an injury.
The news made immediate waves since it came as a shock to most. Lehner played in Vegas' last game on Wednesday, but was pulled after the first period. Since then, no news came out indicating that the Swede would be out long-term.
Much like everyone else, Head Coach Peter DeBoer was also caught off-guard by the sudden annoucement.
The coach however, wasn't buying what his goaltender was selling.
DeBoer's comments makes this situation so much more interesting.
Is he not aware of his own player's injuries? Is he calling Lehner's bluff? Is there bad blood between the two? This is all so muddy.
We're dying to find out what the truth is here, because the Golden Knights have four games remaining this season and trail the Dallas Stars by just two points for the final Western Conference wild-card spot!
Regardless, losing your 30-year old netminder with playoff experience is definitely not a good look.
