This trade with Ullmark has been rumored for several months after Bruins starter Jeremy Swayman took a large leap forward in his career and cemented himself as the number one goaltender for next year. Ullmark Has one year left on his deal at $5,000,000 AAV. Having a long-term deal signed prior to the trade is paramount as the Senators are likely to give up many assets to acquire his services.
