With one game remaining in the Stanley Cup finals, trade season will take front and centre and it appears the Boston Bruins have a three-team trade involving goaltender Linus Ullmark.

This trade with Ullmark has been rumored for several months after Bruins starter Jeremy Swayman took a large leap forward in his career and cemented himself as the number one goaltender for next year. That commitment will require an enormous pay increase and an 8-year deal which states that Ullmark's tenure has come to an end.

Many feel the team that's primarily wanting Ullmark is the Ottawa Senators. Rumors have been heating recently of a Boston Ottawa trade involving hallmark to which he has waived his no trade clause. The delay in this trade is likely due to a third party entering the mix and uncertainty in terms of a contract of the Senators are willing to present him.

Ullmark Has one year left on his deal at $5,000,000 AAV. Having a long-term deal signed prior to the trade is paramount as the Senators are likely to give up many assets to acquire his services.

It remains to be seen on whether this trade will take place or if it will take place, but it appears that this move is coming together quickly, and announcement will be coming shortly.
