The Boston Bruins have officially announced a signing today.
It was announced by the Boston Bruins that they have officially re-signed Ian Mitchell to a league minimum deal wroth $775k if he plays at the NHL level and this contract will also make him eligible for arbitration next summer.
The #NHLBruins have signed Ian Mitchell to a one-year, two-way extension with a cap hit of $775,000.
The Boston Bruins traded for Mitchell and Alec Regula from the Blackhawks last year when they traded Taylor Hall and Nick Folignos rights.
Mitchell ended up suiting up for the Bruins a couple of times last year where Regula spent the whole season with the Providence Bruins.
This is just the first of many moves the Bruins will be making this off-season.
