During his time in Boston, he has only had two seasons where he was below 40 points, which was in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.
Since then he's been a consistent producer and hit a career-high of 50 points in 2022-2023 under new coach, Jim Montgomery.
But his contract will expire at the end of the season and will be a UFA able to choose where he lands next.
While he did continue his great play during the post-season against the Florida Panthers, surprisingly there were no contract talks between himself and Boston recently.
One of his suitors who could come into the picture in July could be the Seattle Kraken who wants to load up offensively.
According to NHL Insider Elliote Friedman, the Kraken are interested in DeBrusk and with the Kraken taking a significant drop in the standings to 29, compared to 2022-2023 the team needs help offensively.
DeBrusk would be a great upgrade for the expansion team and the team would love to add the Bruin to the team, if Sweeney fails to sign DeBrusk come the 1st of July.
For now, we will have to wait for Don Sweeney's next move, or lack thereof of to see where DeBrusk lands next.
