A completed move changes a lot of things for the Boston Bruins.

This off-season was a busy one for the Boston Bruins, they made some big signings bringing in Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm being the biggest, but they still aren't done as they still have to sign restricted free agent Jeremy Swayman.

Not long after free agency opened the Boston Bruins announced the signing of both Lindholm and Zadorov.

Bringing in Elias Lindholm will be game changing for the Bruins as they finally get their number one center they have been looking for, and even though last year was a down year.

Lindholm finished the year with 35 points, split between the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks last year, but is expected to have a bounce back year with the Bruins this year.

It is projected that Lindholm will get first line minutes with Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak next year, and will more than likely get top power play minutes as well.

Lindholm hasn't played with someone of the caliber of Pastrnak since he played with Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk in Calgary, and in that year he had 42 goals and 40 assists for 82 points in 82 games.

The Bruins could very well be contenders if they can get that version of Elias Lindhom.

Do you think the Boston bruins will be contenders next year?
