The Boston Bruins are one of two teams very interested in acquiring Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin.

Earlier today some news broke on social media stating that Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin has requested a trade from the Red Wings organization, and there are reportedly two teams who have emerged as suitors for him.

According to some inside reports Larkin has requested a trade due to not being happy with how things are going with the Wings organization.

BREAKING: Per insider sources, Detroit Red Wings captain has requested a trade. The veteran forward, who has been with the team for over a decade, is reportedly unhappy with his tenure in Detroit due to years of losing and is seeking a fresh start with a contender.

According to Red Wings Insider on social media there are two teams that have been confirmed to be interested in acquiring Dylan Larking, being the Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars.

Sources confirm that both the Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins are among the teams showing significant interest in acquiring Dylan Larkin. Both teams are in the hunt for a veteran leader to bolster their playoff push, with Dallas looking to add depth to their forward corps and Boston seeking additional leadership and scoring punch for their Cup aspirations. The Stars who just lost Tyler Seguin for 4-6 months after undergoing surgery is looking to add someone that will help them in their playoff run this year.

Moreover the Boston Bruins have been very vocal that they want to make some changes this year, and what better move than acquiring an elite player in Dylan Larking.

The one thing the Bruins would have to solve is who they are going to trade for Larkin, and make sure they clear enough cap space to acquire him.
