The Boston Bruins lost their first game under head coach Joe Sacco yesterday against the Vancouver Canucks, and the head coach made a roster change in hopes to get the Bruins back into the win column tonight.
In Jake DeBursk's return to TD Garden the Vancouver Canucks ended up beating the Bruins 2-0, and who else but Jake DeBrusk to score the game winning goal.
Now the Bruins are looking to turn the page today as they face the New York Islanders at UBS Arena and look to get back into the win column.
The Boston Bruins did not hold a practice today due to them playing in a back-to-back, but it is expected that Joe Sacco will go to Joonas Korpisalo in nets after Jeremy Swayman once again had a tough outing allowing one goal on just 14 shots.
Tyler Johnson and defenseman Jordan Osterle were both healthy scratches against the Vancouver Canucks and will more then likely sit out once again against the New York Islanders.
Here are the projected lines and defensive pairings for both sides.
