Hockey is for everyone, seems a harmless phrase as it is a statement of purpose and practice. It's inclusivity in genuine expression.

But for many NHL fans who listen to the Only Bruins podcast, who stated they shared a love of community with LGBTQ people and the Boston Pride For All Parade, the podcast had to shut off the comments.

Celebrating Pride

This happened on X.com which has continued to degrade in quality, after Elon Musk's takeover of the social platform.

The Only Bruins Podcast, who like the Boston Bruins themselves have made a practice of extending their hands to bring the LGBTQ community into the spotlight and welcome them as fans, received irrational hatred after the post.

Much like Only Bruins, the Boston Bruins official account themselves had to be stunned when they had to lockdown the account to protect themselves from bigotry and undoubtedly incensed comments from NHL fans and bot accounts everywhere.

Which is inexplicable given Charlie McAvoy's own advocacy in the past has shown his support for the community, does that mean Charlie McAvoy is deserving of ultimate hatred for his support for the community?
