Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman has revealed that him and ex-Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark are set to reunite today off of the ice today.
Swayman stated that the two are set to hangout today before they face off in their first showdown against each other tomorrow as Ullmark returns to TD Garden for the first time.
Last year Jeremy Swayman won over the starting crease in Boston during the playoffs, which ultimately lead to Linus Ullmark being traded in the off-season.
The Boston Bruins sent Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators in the off-season to clear some cap space.
In return they ended up getting Joonas Korpisalo, and Mark Kastelic who have both been great for the Bruins, along with the 25th overall pick in the 2024-25 Draft.
The connection that Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman shared while being a tandem in Boston was unmatched.
The two are best friends even after Linus Ullmark was traded, and getting to watch them play against each other tomorrow is going to be emotional for everyone involved.
Everyone is looking forward to Linus Ullmark's return, and more then likely the Boston Bruins will pay tribute to Ullmark in his return tomorrow.
Mark Kastelic, and Joonas Korpisalo are both also slated to face off against their former team for the first time since being traded as well.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET tomorrow, and coverage will begin on NESN at 6 p.m. Easter time.
