Jake DeBrusk has spent his whole career with the Boston Bruins. Appearing in 7 seasons in the NHL, every game has been played in a Bruins jersey, well next year things are going to be different for him as he decided to sign with the Vancouver Canucks during free agency.
Since Jake DeBrusk has left the organization, fans have been wondering who is going to replace him, especially after not signing a top six forward during the off-season.
It seems like the Bruins are going to use a player from within the organization to replace Jake DeBrusk moving forward, and recently a poll surfaced on social media asking fans who they would want to see replace Jake DeBrusk heading into the 2024-25 season, and 50% of the votes from fans want to see Fabian Lysell take his spot.
Fabian Lysell is regarded as one of the top prospects in the Boston Bruins organization, and has yet been given a shot at the NHL level. His first shot might come with some big shoes to fill.
This will be fun to see how it unfolds, and definitely something to keep an eye on this season.
