A big brawl broke out between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers after Matthew Poitras blew up and started tossing Flyers star defenseman around.

The Boston Bruins had an embarrassing proformance against the Philadelphia Flyers yesterday, who are one of the worst teams in the league. In 10 games in the 2024-25 season, the Flyers have allowed 40 goals, but the Boston Bruins could not find a way to put one in the back of the net, losing 2-0.

One of the worst parts is that the Bruins were down 1-0 entering the third period, and only managed to get three shots in the final frame.

Bruins finished with three shots on goal in the third period.

Early in the game, Matthew Poitras took a cheap hit from Joel Farabee when he did not have the puck skating up the middle of the ice, you could tell that Poitras was clearly struggling after absorbing this hit.

Later on in the game, tensions boiled over when Matthew Poitras started to toss around Philadelphia Flyer's defenseman Emil Andrae, leading to a big scrum.

all in all, I love to see this from Potsy.

It's nice to see that the Boston Bruins are clearly frustrated with how they have been playing, something has to be done. Their power play is horrible, along with their 5v5 stats, and their defense has been horrible as well.

The Boston Bruins have nothing going right for them right now, and need to figure it out quickly.
