The bad news just keeps coming for Bruins fans, and the latest revelation coming out of Boston just might break their hearts. Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs held a press conference recently, and his comments may hint at a very sad goodbye to come in the near future.

Jacobs' Comments Hint at the End of an Era in Boston

No other team in the league is currently facing the situation Boston is in right now. They could potentially lose their top two centers of the last decade and counting, one of which is their captain and perennial Selke Trophy winner. When Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs was asked about the impact Bergeron and Krejci have had on this team, he had the following to say.

"It's hard to put in to words, frankly. The leadership, the exemplary play of both players."

I guess sometimes no answer is the best answer?

Jacob's doesn't really give a solid answer with that quote, but he goes on to explain his own experiences with the two, and how he's gone from seeing them drafted into the NHL, to the veterans they've become.

If this is truly it for Bergeron and Krejci, they've had two amazing careers, and could find themselves in the Hall of Fame some day.
