Bruins Emerge As Potential Landing Destination For An Unexpected Forward As Trade Talks Heat Up
With how terrible the Boston Bruins have been this year, they have been involved in a lot of trade talks, but they have surprisingly emerged as a potential landing destination for a Seattle Kraken forward.
Similar to the Bruins this season, the Seattle Kraken have struggled and because of that they have been involved in a lot of trade rumours as well.
The Kraken have a 23-28-4 record, and sit seventh in the Pacific Division and 9 points out of a playoff spot, due to this they are more than likely going to be sellers at the NHL trade deadline.
Bjorkstrand has had a very solid season for the Seattle Kraken. Appearing in 54 games this season, he has 15 goals, 19 assists for 34 points.
Bruins emerge as a surprising landing destination for a solid depth forward
NHL trade rumours believes that Bjorkstrand could be a solid fit for the Boston Bruins.
In the off-season the Bruins lost Jake DeBrusk to the Vancouver Canucks, and the Bruins were unable to replace him. They have taken a hit because of that this season, and have seriously struggled getting depth scoring.

The Bruins had their scoring struggles this season because of it, so they could consider targeting Bjorkstrand. He also could make sense for Boston when noting that he would be more than a rental if acquired.
The other two teams that were listed as potential landing destinations are the Ottawa Senators and the Calgary Flames.
