Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco has made a surprising roster move with veteran forward Tyler Johnson ahead of their game tonight vs the Vancouver Canucks.

It's no surprise that the Bruins have been struggling to find the back of the net this year, and now head coach Joe Sacco has made a roster move that could spark more offence for the Boston Bruins.

Tonight Mark McLaughlin will take Tyler Johnson's spot in the Bruins lineup as the Bruins continue to look for some more offence.

Looks like McLaughlin goes in with Frederic and Coyle while Johnson will come out

Mark McLaughlin was recalled by the Boston Bruins just a couple days ago, and now he is set to make his debut against the Vancouver Canucks.

Before being called up by the Boston Bruins McLaughlin was on a five game goal streak with their affiliate the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League. According to hockeydb Mark McLaughlin has five goals along with five assists for 10 points in 15 games with the Providence Bruins this year.

Now McLaughlin will get his first shot at the NHL since last year when he would appear in just one game for the Boston Bruins where he would end up scoring for the Bruins.

In 14 NHL games with the Boston Bruins McLaughlin has 4 goals, and no assists for four points.

Personally this is a good move by Sacco, bringing in a younger guy who currently has the hot hand, and could provide more scoring opportunities for their third line.
