Hampus Lindholm has been out for awhile for the Boston Bruins after fracturing his knee cap from blocking a Justin Faulk shot.
When Hampus Lindholm originally got injured against the St. Louis Blues, the Bruins gave him a six week timeline to come back to the lineup but things are not looking good at all.
Yesterday Bruins insider Steve Conroy was asked if there was any updates on Lindholm's status as this coming Tuesday marks five weeks since Lindholm has been out.
Steve responded to the fans question stating that the last time he saw Lindholm was a few weeks ago, but Lindholm was still walking with a limp.
Here is what Conroy had to say:
This is not a update Bruins fans want to hear, as Lindholm before the injury was the Boston Bruins best defenseman, and best player in general.
Since being injured the Bruins have been trying to turn things around, but it's clear that the Bruins are missing Lindholm's presence on the blue line as they have been exposed by multiple contending teams.
Hopefully when Lindholm does return, he can play like he was before getting injured.
