During their playoff series against the Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs are missing their top player, Auston Matthews. At first, the team said he's out because he's sick, but now some people think he might be hiding an injury.

In playoff hockey, teams keep injuries secret to avoid giving opponents an advantage. This has led to speculation about Matthews. Some fans even found a video from a previous game that suggests he might have hurt his knee.

In my opinion, Auston Matthews probably tore something in his right leg on this play.

I watched his shifts after this play in game 3 and in game 4 and he looked noticeably slower and had much less jump. Tons of torque on the front and inside of the right knee, MCL/LCL tear?

If Matthews does have a knee injury, it would explain why he's not playing and why he's not practicing much. But we won't know for sure until after the playoffs.

For now, Leafs fans are worried about Matthews and hoping he can come back soon.
