Bruins veteran might be calling it a career after being eliminated
Boston Bruins defensemen shared some insight on whether or not he will be hanging up the skates for the Boston Bruins or not.
Kevin Shattenkirk has been in the NHL for 14 years, and won a Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning back in 2020.
With that being said Kevin Shattenkirk is expected to become a free agent, and during exit interviews he was asked if he was going to continue playing in the NHL or call it a career.
Kevin Shattenkirk wants to continue playing next year.
With him about to become a free agent, it will be interesting to see if the Boston Bruins or any team decide to offer a contract to the veteran, who could be a valuable depth piece for a contending team.
