Former Boston Bruins defenseman Jeremy Lauzon dropped the gloves with Edmonton Oilers forward Vasili Podkolzin, and got dropped.

On Thursday, the Edmonton Oilers did something the Boston Bruins couldn't do, win a game, the Boston Bruins got blown out 8-2, while the Oilers picked up a 5-1 win on Halloween.

Even without their captain Connor McDavid, the Oilers found a way to bounce back from a 6-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. With McDavid out of the lineup, Leon Draisaitl stepped up to the plate and took over for the Oilers, leading them to a win with two goals and an assist.

Nashville didn't have any answers for the Oilers yesterday, but former Boston Bruins defenseman Jeremy Lauzon tried to get his team going by dropping the gloves, but that didn't end well for him.

Jeremy Lauzon dropped the gloves with Oilers forward Vasili Podkolzin, but got absolutely dropped by a nasty right hand that would leave him bloody and cut open on his forehead.
