The Bruins and Ullmark have been surrounded in a lot of rumours ever since the trade deadline where Ullmark reportedly blocked a trade.
Since being eliminated from the playoffs and the Bruins off-season in full effect, trade talks started to heat up between teams and the Boston Bruins.
It wasn't until later in the week last week when trade talks to a massive step forward between the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators.
It was confirmed that the talks were real, and that it was just a matter of time until Linus Ullmark was eventually traded.
Two days ago the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators officially completed the deal sending Ullmark to the Senators, and the Bruins got back Mark Kastelic, Joonas Korpisalo and the biggest part of the deal, their 25th overall pick in the first-round.
Yesterday Linus Ullmark issued a heartfelt statement saying goodbyes to his teammates and the fans of Boston.

This move was inevitable, but it's going to be a tough pill to swallow for the Bruins, and fans are definitely going to miss seeing the 'goalie hug' after each win.
