Recent reports suggest that Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark has said goodbye to the city of Boston and his Bruins teammates.

Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has a big decision to make this off-season with goaltender Linus Ullmark, who currently still has one year left on his contract with the team.

Don Sweeney made it clear that Jeremy Swayman will be the main focus as he wants to get him locked up before the Bruins decide to do anything which makes it seem like Ullmark's time with the Bruins is coming to an end.

Linus Ullmark was involved in a bunch of trade rumours during the NHL trade deadline this year, reports suggested that Ullmark did indeed block a trade using his NTC, so the Bruins decided to keep the tandem together for the playoffs, but Swayman would appear in every game but one.

A lot of teams have been showing interest in Ullmark, and it seems he knows his time is coming to an end in Boston as well with this post he made on social media. It looks like Ullmark was saying goodbye to his teammates and the city of Boston.

"Thank you Bruins fans for this memorable season. Celebrating the centennial season for the spoked B has been a pleasure sharing with all of you."

Ullmark was nothing but good for the Bruins, even winning the Vezina Trophy last year with the team. But it's clear the Bruins trust Jeremy Swayman to be their number one goalie.

It would be hard for the Bruins to build a contending team if they had $11-13 million locked up between both their goalies, and they wouldn't want to lose Ullmark for nothing in the off-season next year, trading him would be the best idea for the Bruins.
