Major announcement made involving Bruins Jeremy Swayman
With only four RFA goalies remaining unsigned, of which one is the Boston Bruin's own Jeremy Swayman was mentioned by the NHL's Dan Rosen.
Dan Rosen mentioned that when the deal could be concluded with GM Don Sweeney and the Boston Bruins, he could end up a highly-paid NHL goalie.
Of which he thinks the deal with Swayman could end up north of the $9 Million AAV range when it's done.
The 25-year-old goalie didn't want to go through with arbitration, after what he went through the last time with Bruins.
This was despite Swayman being arbitration eligible, he'd rather not relive the experience.
His first and only time going through a third party landed him a one-year deal, with a $3.475 Million AAV deal.
He's coming out of 2023-2024 as the Bruins starting goalie, with 43 games played, 25 wins, and a .916 save percentage and 2.53 GAA.
