It was reported back in May that former NHL winger Ondrej Kase was said to be generating interest with teams, thanks to his play in the Czech ExtraLiga.

When that didn't materialize for Kase he would sign on for another season in the Extraliga with HC Litvinov according to a team release.

The 28-year-old has found success early in his NHL career, scoring 124 points( 57 G, 67 A) in 258 games in 7 seasons.

But a concussion would set him back and cause him to miss the entirety of 2022-2023. Only playing 11 minutes during the NHL season opener.

He would join Brother David in Czechia and the HC Litvinov, which proved to be a smart idea. Resting up, and staying healthy he put up solid numbers scoring 54 points( 23 G, 31 A) in 48 games.

Ranking 3rd leaguewide in points in 2023-2024.

Kase would also land a role in the IIHF World Championships scoring 7 points in 10 games as they would win a gold medal.

With the season he had in 2023-2024 it's unsurprising he'd generate interest from NHL clubs again.

However, he chose to remain home for another year citing family reasons, and if he could break out again in 2024-2025 he could find himself on the NHL radar once again soon.
