Some big news on captain Patrice Bergeron, as the Bruins prepare to host the Panthers for game two at TD Garden tonight.
Still Under the Weather?
Bergeron left Boston's final regular season game in Montreal after the first period. He hasn't skated since due to nagging injuries, but more specifically, an illness that has effected several players.
However, ahead of game two, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic shared a huge update regarding the veteran:
''Patrice Bergeron is skating on his own.''
Nothing has been confirmed by head coach Jim Montgomery or the team, but expect Bergeron to be a game time decision once again.
Either way, this is obviously a major positive development regarding the Bruins captain's health status.
