With the postseason right around the corner, the Boston Bruins would like to be as healthy as possible, with currently injured Nick Foligno providing his own update.
Hopeful For Playoffs
Although he's been skating for some time now, earlier today, Foligno shared with the media that he still has 'no timetable'' for his return yet. While the veteran also stated that he's aiming to come back for round one of the playoffs:
''That's what I'm shooting for. ... I'm going to try my hardest.''
The veteran has been out of the Bruins' lineup since suffering a lower-body injury against the Calgary Flames on February 28th - missing 18 games.
Foligno, 35, has had an incredible bounce back season in Boston, with 26 points in 60 games after just 11 in 64 games last season.
Subsequently, the Bruins announced they placed Foligno and Derek Forbort on LTIR to make room for Taylor Hall's return.
