At the age of 37, and in his 19th NHL season, Bergeron once again put on a defensive clinic from a forward.
First of all, he helped lead the Bruins to a record breaking 65-win and 135-point regular season, while that posting a team GAA of 2.12 (league's lowest in nine years).
Individually, Bergeron led the NHL with 1,043 face-off wins (eighth time in his career) and had the top win percentage among 52 centers that took at least 1,000 draws, at 61.1%.
To top it off, the Bruins had 59.7% of all shot attempts (5-on-5) when Bergeron was on the ice, and was on the ice for just 27 even-strength goals-against (78 GP).
