In an electrifying first period, Patrick Maroon of the Boston Bruins took center stage, challenging the entire Florida Panthers team to a fight.

This bold move came after a heated exchange with Sam Bennett at center ice following an icing call.

Maroon, clearly agitated by Bennett's previous game actions where he sucker-punched Bruins captain Brad Marchand, waved his glove invitingly at all five Panthers skaters on the ice, signaling he was ready to drop the gloves with anyone who stepped forward.

Maroon inching toward pulling a "Wensink" at 16:06, asking Bennett and others for a fight. Bennett waves glove at all 5 FLA skaters - no takers.

However, none of the Panthers players accepted Maroon's offer, and the crowd at TD Garden loved it. The fans cheered wildly as Maroon skated around, ready to engage, echoing the infamous "Wensink" moment from Bruins history when a similar challenge was issued.

Maroon's willingness to stand up for his teammate and take on any opponent encapsulated the tense atmosphere of the game, making it clear that the Bruins were not backing down from the physical challenge.
