Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand, and star defenseman Charlie McAvoy have already been selected to play at the Four Nation's tournament coming up, and we may see some other Bruins players joining them soon.
Tomorrow the NHL is going to be announcing their offical roster's for the upcoming international tournament and there is a chance more Bruins get named to teams rosters.
Brad Marchand is confirmed to be dressing for Canada, and Charlie McAvoy is confirmed to be dressing for USA in the upcoming tournament, but we will have to wait and see if Jeremy Swayman will be joining them or not.
Before entering this year, Jeremy Swayman had a good chance to be named a goaltender for team USA in the tournament.
To no surprise the starting goaltender for team USA is going to be Connor Hellebuyck, but the odds for Jeremy Swayman even making the team is very slim.
Jeremy Swayman has been horrible for the Bruins, but recently has been playing better, but his start to the year may have ruined his chances of earning a spot team USA's roster for the tournament.
Swayman's 3.09 goals against average, and .892 save percentageis terrible considering the options team USA will have for their starting position with the likes of Hellebuyck and Jake Oettinger.
There is still a chance that he earns a spot with team USA but the chances are definitely not in his favour. This may be a different story if Swayman had a better start to the year after signing his massive deal in the off-season.
