Swayman Chimes in on Marchand Being Named Captain

Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman spoke on teammate Brad Marchand being named the team's 27th captain in team history Friday morning.
«No surprise. Everyone in here knew that was coming. I'm gonna run through a wall for that guy, same as everyone around me.»
Swayman, a well-respected guy in the dressing room on his right, clearly conveys that everyone is on board with the decision.
The Bruins have had a very intact culture that has drawn praise from members of the organization going back to when Zedano Chara was named captain. With Swayman's comment, there's no doubt that Marchand has earned the loyalty and respect of all his teammates, and his voice is always heard.
