The Boston Bruins Complete A Move With This Player
The Boston Bruins have made a roster move, recalling forward John Beecher from the minor leagues, according to AHL Transaction logs.
Beecher, 22, has been with the Providence Bruins since mid-January, tallying eight points in 17 games.
Beecher's journey to the NHL has been marked by notable moments, including his unexpected appearance on the Bruins' opening roster last season. Despite limited scoring success, Beecher has showcased other strengths, such as his impressive faceoff percentage and physicality on the ice.
With this recall, Boston utilizes one of its remaining four recalls and fills its roster to 23 players. Beecher's addition provides much-needed depth amid injuries to key forwards like Pat Maroon and Milan Lucic.
