The Boston Bruins completed a trade with the New York Rangers yesterday
The Boston Bruins in 1932 completed a transaction today that would send Obs Heximer from the New York Rangers to Beantown.
This transaction was completed 92 years ago, as Heximer would join the Bruins during the 1932-1933 season.
Heximer played a total of 84 games in the NHL, with the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, and New York Americans.
He would play one season in NHL Boston, during '32-'33 and would reluctantly be sent down to the minors and play with the Boston Cubs.
He would once again play his final season in the NHL, with the New York Americans in 1934-1935 before finishing his career in the minors.
Heximer scored 20 points(13 G, 7 A) in 84 NHL Games played.
