The Bruins are awaiting answers on whether Patrice Bergeron will play or not next year. It's getting to be that time where Bergeron will eventually have to make one.
After Game 7 of the first round, where the Florida Panthers beat the Bruins to win the series in overtime, we saw a moment where Patrice had a heartfelt moment with the fans. The fans clapped him off the ice and Bergeron saluted the fans. After that, we thought that was his last NHL game. And it could be, because with all the signings and trades Sweeney has been doing, it looks like he may be retiring.
Well, it's been a couple months after that, and we still have no decision from the Captain on if he'll return or retire. Of course, he owes nothing to the team and has all the respect in the world in that locker room, but you are letting him hold you back from making future moves with this going on.
Boston should make him make a decision, and soon.
