Bruins Network may have just revealed who will be replacing Patrick Maroon heading into next year.

Patrick Maroon brought some good leadership and experience to the Boston Bruins locker room and bench during the playoffs, but it's clear the end of his career is coming as he is getting slower and not producing like he use to.

Don Sweeney made it clear that the Boston Bruins would only be bringing him back depending on how his health is. Despite that Maroon made it clear that if he was offered a contract he would come back to the Bruins again next year.

Bruins Network may have revealed who could be Patrick Maroon's replacement heading into next year and that is Johnny Beecher.

They reported that Beecher may not play the whole season with the Bruins, but he should at least be on the opening roster given his play down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Probably not, at least at this point, no. Beecher should open up the season as their fourth-line anchor thanks to his size, speed, range and agility down the middle. His production moving forward is probably more like 10G-10A-20PTS+ and there's nothing wrong with that. #NHLBruins

Beecher looked really good in the playoffs and even got some good compliments from head coach Jim Montgomery and Don Sweeney during the end of year press conference.

The Bruins are clearly a better team with him and he also was one of their best face off players for the Bruins.
