Major announcement involving former Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy

A major announcement was made involving former Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy today.

The Vegas Golden Knights made a special announcement on social media to reconize Bruce Cassidy's birthday. Cassidy has been the head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights since 2022 after being fired by the Boston Bruins.

Bruce Cassidy lead the Vegas Golden Knights to their second Stanley Cup last year.

During his time with the Boston Bruins Cassidy led the Bruins to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2019, but ultimately came up short losing to the St. Louis Blues.

The Birthday greeting from the Golden Knights highlights how well respected he is by the Vegas Golden Knights. Even though he came up short with the Bruins, Cassidy proved that he is still a good coach by leading the Golden Knights to the Cup.
