Re-draft of the 2003 NHL; where did Patrice Bergeron go?
In NHL history, Patrice Bergeron is one of the largest draft steals.
The current Boston Bruins captain was originally selected in the second round (45th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, and has put up quite the impressive career since. In 18 seasons, Bergeron has appeared in 1,216 games, recorded 982 points, helped the B's capture the 2011 Stanley Cup and collected five Selke Trophies along the way.
Looking back at his draft year, there was some solid players, who had long careers, along with a few other who are still playing. Here's how the top ten selections went in 2003:
