You wouldn't believe who the Boston Bruins were possibly targeting at the 2012 NHL Entry draft!

A fellow Bruins writer, Matt Porter of the Boston Globe, made an interesting find from a Calgary newspaper back in 2012, which had the team picking a well-known "pest" from an Eastern Conference foe.

Boston has had their fair share of agitators, building the moniker "Big Bad Bruins." From the current Brad Marchand, to former Bruins such as Milan Lucic and Shawn Thornton. Of course, who could forget the legends like Derek Sanderson, Cam Neely and Ken "the Rat" Linseman.

The newspaper was the Calgary Herald, and it had a mock of the 2012 NHL draft, which had the Bruins picking everyone's favourite, none other, than Tom Wilson.

Wilson was picked eight picks ahead by the Washington Capitals at 16th overall, while Boston ended up drafting goaltender Malcolm Subban with the 24th pick.

Although he goes over the edge sometimes, Wilson also has 114 goals, 158 assists and 272 points in 638 NHL games.

Given his history, especially the questionable hits he's thrown against Boston players, how would you feel about Tom Wilson being in a Bruins jersey?
