"The Bruins did have past interest in Karlsson but that's no longer the case. As evident of the team's run to the Stanley Cup final, defense has been a major factor for the Bruins. Zdeno Chara, 42, still made an impact and Torey Krug emerged as a force at both ends of the ice. The Bruins also saw continued development from young D-men Charlie McAvoy, Brandon Carlo, Matt Grzelcyk and Clifton.
