There's no parade in Boston for the Bruins after they were beaten by the St. Louis Blues in last night's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Fingers are pointed everywhere the morning after, and while some are pointed at Brad Marchand, others are pointed at Tuukka Rask who gave up four goals on 20 shots.

When it comes to criticism of Rask, head coach Bruce Cassidy isn't having it.

"There really shouldn't be,"Cassidy told the Boston Globe. "We're a team. We scored a goal with two minutes left, he could have stood on his head and given up one, so ... they outplayed us at certain moments of the game at all positions. He was excellent. He was our best player. I don't think anybody's leaving the building tonight, unfortunately, in our locker room, saying they put their best foot forward. That's the whole group."

The Blues were outshot 12-4 during the first 20 minutes and while it looks to be in favour of the Bruins on paper, one the ice it worked out for the Blues.

"It was a nightmare for me, obviously," said Rask. "I barely didn't make a save in the first. We tried to create, and we had good chances. [Binnington] made the saves when they needed them. That's what you want to do when you're on the road."

Rask finishes the 2018-19 playoffs with a 15-9 record along with a 2.02 goals against average and .934 save percentage.
