Austin Watson gets away with a dirty hit on Jack Ahcan
During the 1st period of today's Bruins versus Senators game the Senators got away with a clearly dirty hit. Austin Watson delivered a late and high hit directly to the head of Jack Ahcan. Jack Ahcan was recalled yesterday from the Providence Bruins and was slotted in for an injured Matt Grzelcyk.
Watson was issued a 2 minute penalty on the play for interference, but the powerplay was negated by an Anton Blidh roughing penalty on the same play.
This is a play that needs to be addressed by the NHL because it clearly fits the criteria for a suspension.
