Bruins prospect Michael DiPietro has had a less than ideal experience at the Spengler Cup in Switzerland.
DiPietro was part of the return that sent Jack Studnicka to the Vancouver Canucks and has appeared in five games with the Maine Mariners, the Bruins ECHL affiliate.
However, after being loaned to Team Canada for the Spengler Cup, he's has nothing but a rough time, as his equipment still hasn't arrived in Davos.
As per Hockey Canada:
ROSTER UPDATE | Michael DiPietro is still awaiting the arrival of his equipment in Davos and is currently unable to play at the #SpenglerCup.
The tournament only runs until December 31st, so there's a good chance that DiPietro won't get a chance to play at all.
A very tough break for the Bruins prospect!
