Boston Bruins' captain Patrice Bergeron has been in the NHL for 18 years now, and he's no stranger to the postseason and big games.

Bergy has appeared in 166 career playoff games over his 18 seasons with the Bruins, and Saturday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes will be his 13th game seven. One behind Zdeno Chara's record of 14 He also has 6 goals and 4 assists in those games, including two separate two-goal games.

Bergeron spoke to the media prior to tonight's do-or-die game on what it takes to perform and win in these situations:

"You've got to enjoy it. That's why you play the game, and that's the biggest thing about it. Make sure you relish the moment and make the most of it, obviously ... the adrenaline and the energy, everything is always increased. With that being said, it's still a game of hockey ... it's always a game of inches and a bounce here, and there can make a difference. What I've learned the most is to stay with and stay the course ... it's not always the easiest thing to do, but it's the biggest thing you to concentrate on."

Patrice Bergeron is a great leader and a true warrior, and the fact that he's sporting a nice shiner from the high-stick he took in game four makes it even better.
