The Dallas Stars were able to force a game seven against the Calgary Flames with a massive 4-2 win on home ice in game six. The win or go home game seven will be Sunday night in Calgary at the Saddledome.

However, there was a little controversy in the hard-fought game six between the Stars and Flames. As many hockey fans know, head coach Daryll Sutter had a very physical and defensive style of play to his teams, which has turned the Flames into a true contender.

Defenseman Nikita Zadorov took that physicality a little too far on Friday night, though, as he caught Stars' forward Luke Glendening with a terrible open-ice headshot:

Stars' coach Rick Bowness was visibly outraged that the referees didn't call a penalty on the play, and rightfully so. In a mid-period interview, the coach also said that Glendening was cut on his face and was obviously in concussion protocol.

It doesn't get much clearer as a headshot than that hit. I'd say there's a very good chance that Zadorov will be suspended for the hit, but the question will be, for how many games? Great news, as Luke Glendening did return for the third period, but he did have a visible cut on his nose.

Zadorov also lost his cool at the end of the game when he tried to go after Stars' defenseman Esa Lindell:
