The New York Rangers have forced a game seven against the Pittsburgh Penguins back at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Thanks in big part to goaltender Igor Shesterkin and not only for stopping the puck but for his incredible breakout pass that led to the Rangers scoring on a breakaway.
Watch it here:
What a pass from the netminder! Shesterkin also stopped 31 of 34 shots he faced helping the Rangers win 5-3 and force yet another game seven in the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs.
If the Boston Bruins were to advance past the Carolina Hurricanes, they will face either the New York Rangers or Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round (winner of this series).
