Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri has his history of dirty plays that have led to suspensions, especially in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
On Saturday night, the Avalanche were in St. Louis to face the Blues for game three of their series. Early in the first period, when Kadri was driving the net on a two on two, it resulted in a massive collision between him and Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington. Binnington had to leave the game and did not return, and now reports are that he won't be able to return in the series because of a knee sprain.
After the game, Blues head coach Craig Berube had a pretty big accusation toward Kadri because of the incident:
It's hard to say if Kadri meant to, as contact with a Blues defenseman drove him towards Binnington.
