A little bit of NHL signing news to announce!

As per CapFriendly, the Boston Bruins have signed defenseman James Greenway to a professional tryout (PTO):

The New York native was drafted in the third round (72nd overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Greenway's signings rights were acquired by the Bruins on June 26th, 2021, from the Maple Leafs, in exchange for future considerations.

The 24-year-old split his 2021-22 season between the Providence Bruins and the Maine Mariners (ECHL), both affiliates of the Boston Bruins.

James is the younger brother of Minnesota Wild forward Jordan Greenway.
