Boston sports team officially changes their name and logo for next season
The PWHL debuted their original six hockey team names and logos today, and the Boston PWHL team was one of them.
The Boston PWHL team has partnered with the creative agency Flower Shop to debut the Fleet's logo.
It hearkens back to the Hartford Whalers, with the B in the shape of an anchor, and honors Boston's nautical heritage.
"As we launch Season Two, we're elevating that pride with new identities that truly embody the spirit of each club,» said Jayna Hefford, PWHL senior vice president of Hockey Operations.
The 2nd season of the PWHL is exciting, as the logos will reveal the uniqueness of each team.
Other teams who revealed their name and logos were: Ottawa Charge, Montreal Victoire, New York Sirens, Toronto Sceptres, and Minnesota Frost
