Forward Brad Marchand is one of the best ever to wear the Boston Bruins sweater.

Selected in the third round (71st overall) in 2006, Marchand has appeared in 880 career games with the Bruins, recording 355 goals and 448 assists for a total of 803 points. The 34-year-old ranks in the top seven on the Bruins' all-time franchise leaderboards in goals, assists and points.

The well-known ''pest'' has also accumulated 899 total penalty minutes in his career, as he plays on the edge and sometimes goes over it too.

And because of that, Marchy holds an NHL record that he may not be particularly proud about:

On February 9th, 2022, Marchand was suspended six games by the NHL Player Safety after an incident with Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry. With his latest and eighth career suspension, he earned the most individual suspensions in NHL history, passing former defenseman Chris Pronger.

What's most crazy about all of it is that the Bruins agitator has forfeited a total of 28 games and $1.4 million in salary due to suspensions over his 13-year career.

However, the veteran has cleaned up his game a lot in recent years, but is never afraid to play on the edge and sometimes go over. That's what makes Marchand, Marchand.
