Most players can't really brag about their first NHL goal. Marchand's however, was a thing of beauty.

The 2010-11 season is a memorable one for all Bruins fans as it ended with their favorite squad lifting the Stanley Cup. But the campaign was also a historic one for Brad Marchand, who found the back of the net for the first NHL goal of his career.

While it was the first of many, the goal happened under circumstances that B's fans have gotten accustomed to over the years.

Who knew that Marchand needed to be on the penalty kill in order to find the back of the net for the first time?

Since then, Marchand has scored 32 more shorthanded goals, most among any active NHLers and good for the 14th spot among the NHL's all-time shorthanded goal leaders.

Patrice Bergeron is third among active NHLers with 20 shorties to his name, just one behind Andrew Cogliano of the Colorado Avalanche.
