NHL veteran Craig Anderson has some pretty unique equipment for the upcoming season with the Buffalo Sabres.
Anderson, like Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark, is a member of Bauer Hockey. The company has become known lately for goalies being able to design their own equipment, and that's what Anderson did for this season, with a little twist.
Anderson had his equipment customized, not by himself but by his 11-year-old son.
The 41-year-old Park Ridge, Illinois, native appeared in 31 games with the Sabres last season, and the veteran goaltender finished with a respectable 17-12-2 record, and is returning for his 20th NHL season.
