A heavyweight tilt broke out today in during preseason action between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The fight was between Penguins' Jamie Devane (6'5'') and Blue Jackets' Ben Harpur (6'6''), and it did not disappoint.
It was tough to see as Devane caught Harpur with a heavy last blow, and he went down hard. Harpur would stay down and be attended to by medical staff. After a few moments, he skated off with the help of two teammates. Really tough to see and hopefully, he's okay!
Devane commented on the scary incident after the game:
''I'm gonna go make sure to check he's OK. But yeah, kind of. I mean, it's preseason, everyone's kind of trying to show what they can do.''
